My love for riding sparked from my very first pony ride at the age of 3. Since that moment, all I could talk, think and dream has been horses. Some 13 odd years later, I’ve been following my passion which has led me to the opportunity to compete in the equitation, hunter, and jumper rings on the A-show circuit along the West Coast. Some of my successes include; qualifying for the USHJA Hunter Seat Medal Finals, the NCEA Junior Hunter Seat Medal Finals, the Platinum Performance USEF Jumping Seat Talent Search West Coast Medal Finals and the ASPCA Maclay Finals.
I’m a junior in high school and currently attend Clackamas Web Academy located in Happy Valley, Oregon. When I am not on the back of a horse, I participate in school activities, spend time with my family, and enjoy snowboarding.
Being able to ride on a NCAA Division 1 Equestrian team would affirm all my hard work, time and effort put into my junior years of riding. Because I have dedicated so much of my life to this sport, I have learned a lot of valuable lessons, a few being; how to rise to an occasion under stressful circumstances, how to push myself out of my comfort zone and most importantly, patience. I am super eager for my future as an equestrian and can’t wait to join a team and start a new chapter of my riding career!
